- Never look directly at the sun, even during a solar eclipse.
- Understand the different phases of a solar eclipse.
- MAKE SURE your eclipse glasses or solar viewer are certified and meet the ISO 12312-2 international standard.
- Be aware of your surroundings during the eclipse.
- Keep children under close supervision during the eclipse.
- DO NOT use homemade filters or ordinary sunglasses.
- DO NOT look at the eclipse through a camera, telescope, binoculars, or other optical device without proper filtering.
- If you experience any discomfort or vision problems after viewing the eclipse, seek immediate medical attention.
- Be aware of the timing of the eclipse in your area.
