Dear Marion Community,
As the Manager of the Marion Public Library and a proud Marion resident, I want to remind all registered voters to head to the polls on Tuesday, November 4, and to review both sides of their ballot. The Library Referendum will be on it.
This proposal gives residents the opportunity to decide whether to establish a voter-approved funding source for the library. That decision will help determine how we continue to provide valued services such as story times for children, access to technology and the internet, comfortable reading spaces, and programs that bring people together.
The Marion Public Library is a welcoming place for all and a space for learning, connection, and community. Whatever your view, your participation matters. Please take a moment to check both sides of your ballot and make your voice heard.
