We’re thrilled to share that our Marion gingerbread entries have swept the county-wide WCBC Gingerbread Contest, winning the top prize in all three categories!
A special congratulations to:
Joan Fisher, whose stunning gingerbread depiction of the Marion Town Hall earned the first-place prize in the Individual category
The Delyser Family for their creative entry of Delyser Farms, which took first-place in the Family category
Girl Scout Troop 61072, whose charming collaboration on Girl Scout Camping Experience tool first-place in the Organization category.
Honorable mentions goes to Amber Taber and girls for their charming depiction of Lollypops & Polkadots, and to the Buss family for their awesome gingerbread depiction of their historic home.
Thank you to everyone who contributed their creativity, time, and skills to make this possible. We’re so proud of our talented community!
Stop by the library to see these award-winning creations for yourself—and let’s celebrate together!
This year’s competition has a twist! Each entry must depict a local, Wayne County business or organization. Think local stores, restaurants, school, churches, (library!), etc…

3. Organization/Business
